A DAY THAT TOOK 2000 YEARS TO MAKE
2015
multi-media installation, silkscreen on print media, video, sound, color, 5:05
A stop-motion animation collage exploring the effects of manipulated, historical iconography in aggrevating political and socio-cultural satire. As the film commercializes classically offensive racial imagery into contemporary discourse, the film additionally addresses the issues of immigration, gentrification, exodus, and disparity (to this day) through a playful narrative of interdisciplinary metaphorism.
